Celebrate Renacer Healthy Club, with owners Damaris and Julio De Jesus, Sat. April 9, 2022, for their first year anniversary. The store will raffle off products and gifts as a thank you to their customers.
Renacer Healthy Club offers healthy products such as smoothies, energy drinks, waffles, and more, all items in the store are healthy and protein-based. The shop recently celebrated its first year anniversary as it opened in Watertown on April 3, 2021.
Along with healthy food options, the shop also offers workout classes. De Jesus said, “Anyone looking to be healthy can join. We do 20-30 minute workouts, a little bit of cardio, and a little bit of light weight lifting. We just want to motivate people.” The classes are offered Monday through Thursday at 5:15 pm. Anyone looking to join can purchase a product and join the class for free.
De Jesus also shares her experience through their first year. She said, “Our first year has been amazing. It has also been different because the population here is more English speaking rather than in Waterbury where it was more Spanish.”
De Jesus is also looking to expand her company. She said, “This is a multilevel company. I can teach people to become business partners as well. Our goal is to keep opening more of these all over Connecticut.”
As the owners go into their second year, they want to emphasize the importance of health. De Jesus said, “We try to teach health right now, to be healthy right now and not down the road when the problems arise.”
